PRIVACY POLICY / LAST UPDATED APRIL 2026

YOUR LOCKER IS BUILT FOR MINIMUM EXPOSURE.

DropLock keeps the service simple: no traditional accounts, no public profiles, no ad-tech identity layer. This page explains what the system handles when you create lockers, store content, recover access, or transfer files.

WHAT DROPLOCK MAY HANDLE
  • Locker names, password hashes, notes, and locker files.
  • Files sent through direct transfer or encrypted code transfer.
  • Optional recovery email details if you add recovery to a locker.
  • Basic technical request data needed for operation and troubleshooting.
WHAT DROPLOCK DOES NOT CENTER
  • No traditional signup account is required for core use.
  • No sale of personal information.
  • No advertising profiles built from your locker activity.
  • No long-term storage intent for temporary transfer sessions.
01

USE OF INFORMATION

Information is used to operate the service you request: creating lockers, storing notes and files, processing transfers, helping you access a locker, and maintaining reliability and security.

02

SHARING

DropLock does not sell your personal information. Information may be shared only when necessary to run the service, comply with legal obligations, protect the website, or enforce terms and security controls.

03

STORAGE

Locker content remains until you delete it or remove the locker. Temporary transfer data is kept only for the transfer flow and is cleaned up after a short period.

04

SECURITY

DropLock uses technical and operational measures intended to protect stored and transferred data. No internet-based system can be guaranteed completely secure, so only upload data you are comfortable handling online.

YOUR CONTROL

You choose what to upload, whether to add recovery email, and whether to keep or delete locker content.
